if our kids look anything like that adorable little boy on the left

[which happens to be my husband]

i will be a happy camper.

i smile when i look at this picture.

and it also makes me smile that my best friend is marrying

his cousin on the right in less than a month.

funny how things turn out..

forgive me if..

i haven't responded to your texts, calls, or any other form of communication.  [aka snubbed you in the grocery line, or gave you a crusty at the home depot].

i'm over my head busy with way too much to even think about.  things such as,

-one title block/logo
-one quiz
-two color boards
-a test
-one partner presentation/floor plan
-2 page communications paper
-2 page book of mormon paper
-one group presentation preparation
-a study guide
-and two projects in process

all this from now until thursday- and these are just the things i can think of off the top of my head. they also don't include washing the laundry that i didn't get around to last week, hopefully finding time to make my neglected husband at least one dinner [since he made tonights], possibly taking the garbage full of diapers out, and if i'm really lucky- driving through the car wash.

i'll see you next week... ;)

it's true.

this is the shortest hair i've ever had.

i keep touching it and then i feel like a boy.

but when i look in the mirror i do like it..

if i look long enough.

i think it will grow on me.

[no pun intended ;)]

oh, and here's the chicken..

i never used to like blue.

especially the color of that wall pictured above-

but i'm pretty sure it's one of my favorites lately.

and, you can count on seeing a painting like that on my wall soon,

i'm going to create one because i love it.
